IONSEP® IEM
EDI (electro deionization) is a technic combined with ion exchange and electrodialysis. Under electrical field, there will be H+ & OH- produced on the surface of ion exchange membranes, which can regenerate the resins. EDI is easy to operate and has a stable effluent. Membranes in EDI need a high selective permeability and low electrical resistance. IONSEP® EDI membrane can meet the requirements well.
Lower resistance: compared with traditional heterogeneous membrane, its resistance is reduced by 30%-50%, which reduce the energy consumption.
High selective permeability brings high current efficiency and stable product water quality.
High compatibility: it can be used in most EDI membrane stacks for maintenance and membrane replacement. It is compatible with variety kinds of spacers.
